I've always loved a good manicure! I enjoy experimenting with different colors and trends. Lately I've noticed people using bold colors and also painting nails in different colors. Recently, I've been OBSESSED with white nail polish! I just think it's so chic and sophisticated.

I gave myself a manicure using Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear nail polish in "White On". Then I proceeded with painting one nail from each hand in "Celeb City" from the same line of Xtreme Wear it's like this silver metallic shade. I am a big fan of the Xtreme Wear line because they have a wide variety of bright, youthful colors. Let's Get it Crackin with Crackle Nail Polish!

So I looked at my nails the other day and was in complete HORROR! LoL I knew that it was time for a new manicure. I was feeling a bit dark and glam at the same time so decided to try something different and went for the "crackled" look.



Nail polishes I used:

  • Sally Hansen's CRACKLE OVERCOAT in "Antiqued Gold"
  • Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails XTREME WEAR in "Black Out"
STEP by STEP guide on how to get this look:
  1. Apply base coat of your preference on all nails. My favorite base coat is Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat, 955  
  2. Apply Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails XTREME WEAR in "Black Out" on all nails
  3. Apply Sally Hansen's CRACKLE OVERCOAT in "Antiqued Gold" on some or all of them
  4. Finish of by applying a ultra shinny fast drying top coat. I recommend Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat, 960 It really helps nail lacquers stay on for a long period of time.

Welcome to the world Blue Ivy Carter! and Hello Blue Nail Polish!

If you're a rock hard Beyonce fan like I am then the moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! Blue Ivy Carter is finally here and she is sooo beautiful just like her mommy!

I'm sure Beyonce looks into her daughter for inspiration and boy has her daughter inspired her...Bey was spotted in NYC rocking blue nails in honor of her daughter on three New York City outings. Her hands are perfectly manicured and the different shades of polish she used inspired me to go 'BLUE' and paint mines as well.

According to a recent article on People magazine, Lisa Logan has been Beyonce's manicurist for many years and was responsible for this look. When the time came to choose a color Bey didn't even think twice and chose this new lovely hue by Nails Inc.'s "Baker Street" nail polish.

due to the edges being filed real close to the skin 
nails are less prone to breakage by 
being filed this way...now you know something new lol

Hey sirens just wanted to share a quick post with you guys. Lately, I have been addicted to all things glitter. Glitter is just so fun to look at and when used in moderation on your nails it makes your sudden 'boring' manicure POP!

LOOK #1 "Glitter Black OUT"

I USED:
Instructions:

  1. Prepped my nails with base coat Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat, 955
  2. Applied two coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color - Black Out (2-pack)
  3. Then I applied Milani Nail Lacquer, Gems 530, .45 fl. oz. On the tips of all my nails.
  4. Finished off with my favorite top coat for quick drying and ultra shine, Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat, 960







LOOK # 2 "GOLDEN SKIES"

I USED:
Instructions:

  1. Prepped my nails with base coat Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat, 955
  2. Applied two coats of Mattese Elite Nail Polish-"LAPIS" from www.rickysnyc.com
  3. Then I applied three coats of MILANI Specialty Nail Lacquer Jewel FX-MLMSN531 Gold on the sides of all my nails. 
  4. Finished off with my favorite top coat for quick drying and ultra shine, Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat, 960









LOOK #3 "GREEN WITH ENVY"


I USED:

Instructions:

  1. Prepped my nails with base coat Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat, 955
  2. Applied two coats of Mattese Elite Nail Polish-"NEON 02 LIME" from www.rickysnyc.com
  3. Then I applied two coats of Milani Nail Lacquer, Gems 530, .45 fl. oz. and one of MILANI Specialty Nail Lacquer Jewel FX-MLMSN531 Gold on only one nail of each hand. 
  4. Finished off with my favorite top coat for quick drying and ultra shine, Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat, 960
